This wild vehicle with treads is called Der Ziesel and it comes from Austria, allowing disabled people to go almost anywhere.
Even though it is meant for disabled people, we have a feeling everyone would enjoy a ride on it. Just look at the video below:
Der Ziesel is a full electric vehicle and comes in three levels of power. Entry level model uses a 6.3-kWh battery and 16-horsepower electric motor, followed by a mid-range unit with a 7.9-kWh pack and 18.7-horsepower. The Pro model uses a a 10.8-kWh battery and a 24 horsepower engine. Depending on the terrain, the top speed is as high as 21.7 miles per hour (35 km/h).
Those big tracks are controlled by a joystick and the vehicle can take a 60 percent grade in any direction. To keep the driver in place and safe there is a four-point harnesses and a roll bar.
Currently available only in Europe, the Ziesel starts at 19,980 euros and goes up to 23,890 euros for the Pro version.
